Esk Hall

Welcome to Esk Hall

Esk Hall is a majestic Georgian mansion house steeped in local history. Nestling at the foot of the Esk Valley and overlooking the winding River Esk it is surrounded by manicured gardens and busy wildlife.

Esk Hall has been restored to its former glory reinstating the east wing of the home, demolished in the 1950s. The house has 17 en-suite bedrooms, two double executive suites; four of the bedrooms benefiting from tiled wet rooms. There are two further house bathrooms and a large ground-floor wet room. The light lounge, with its panoramic windows giving views of the valley, is luxurious yet comfortable, leading into our breath-taking conservatory.

Why not join us for afternoon tea, take a walk around our peaceful grounds and watch the Pickering to Whitby steam train pass at the bottom of the garden. Esk Hall is simply unlike any other residential home in the County.

Care at Esk Hall

01. Residential Care
Our residential residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible. Regularly monitoring and assessing our resident’s individual care needs enables our team to always be there to support and assist at all times.

Each resident’s room provides a ‘home from home’ environment. Our aim is to provide a level of care which allows for independent living, with additional support. Our residents enjoy the community atmosphere, companionship and security in our homes.
02. Respite Care
Respite care is ideal for those looking for convalescence, either following a hospital stay or an illness. Many people also arrange a trial stay as a temporary resident to see if the home is the right choice for them as their new home.

Caring independently for a loved one can be challenging at times and it is important to take regular breaks to recoup. We offer short term residential stays to allow carers the time to rest, confident that their loved one is in good hands. We are also able to make short stays available, which can boost the support network of someone who is recovering from an accident or following a hospital stay.

Both services allow the opportunity for carers and those cared for to rebuild strength and rest.
